"Drop A Cop"
Acworth Police Officers and
their family members volunteered their time to participate in the "Drop A
Cop" Dunk Tank Fundraiser during the July 4th and Labor Day
weekends in 2004. They raised $1,000.00 for the Alzheimer's Association.

“Circle of Honor”
The SHIELD Foundation of Georgia, Inc. invited and surprised
ten individuals and their families to a dinner in their honor. The
individuals and family members have graciously given their talent, time, and
treasure to benefit the community and the local police departments.
The Circle of Honor Recipients were: Randall Bentley, Esquire
and Susan Bentley, Dr. Jim Eaton and Pam Eaton, Dallas Godfrey and Ernestine
Godfrey, Arthur Hunt and Connie Hunt, Bob Levine and Sherri Levine, Marlon
Longacre and Libby Longacre, Rhonda Newton, Honorable Jim Payne and Aundrea
Payne, RonPapaleoni and Angela Papaleoni, United States Congressman Tom
Price, M.D. and Dr. Elizabeth Price.
The dinner was hosted at Henry’s Louisiana Grill on Main
Street in Acworth, Georgia. The Circle of Honor awards were provided by PCT
Trophies in Kennesaw, GA.

“Paintball Wars”
The SHIELD Foundation of Georgia, Inc.
hosted the 1st Annual Paintball Wars at Arkenstone Paintball
in Paulding County. Metro Atlanta law enforcement officers and local
high school ROTC students competed against several paintball scenario
teams. The tactics used by law enforcement personnel could not overcome
the tactics of the paintball scenario teams.
"Roast of the Cobb County
District Attorney"
The SHIELD Foundation of Georgia,
Inc. hosted the 1st Annual Dinner\Roast of Cobb
County District Attorney Pat Head at the Galleria Centre. The
Roasters were Director of the Georgia Drugs and Narcotics Agency
Bill Atkins, Chief Michael Barton, Attorney Jimmy Berry, Judge
Irma Glover, and Senior Assistant District Attorney Van
Pearlberg.
